Derron joined MJM Architects in 1994 after a brief career in environmental engineering providing drafting, inspection, lab testing and oversight for abatement of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead and radon.  His experience with MJM has found himself involved in a full range of projects including industrial distribution facilities, commercial office buildings, large and small retail developments, and some residential design.  His current responsibilities include client relations and program management for a number of clients including a Seattle based coffee retailer and a Wisconsin based farm supply retailer.  Projects range from mall kiosks, tenant upfits, ground up development, renovations, complex conversions in multi-story buildings to one million plus square foot distribution centers.  He manages a capable team of individuals developed specifically to serve his client’s needs with diligence and on-time delivery.

 Derron enjoys being outdoors, is an avid golfer and loves kayaking.  He is also a lifelong baseball enthusiast and has been categorized as a rabid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
