Work With Us
We are a nationally licensed,
100% employee-owned design firm with in-house architectural, engineering (SMP&E), and interior design services.
We are looking for people skilled in developing and maintaining client relationships and independently directing projects, from programming and initial site survey to construction administration.
Based in Nashville, we specialize in commercial, retail, restaurant, healthcare, and entertainment projects for clients nationwide. Our integrated team structure ensures a collaborative, fast-moving project delivery approach.
Electrical Engineer
As we grow and expand, we have an immediate need for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Nashville office. This person will be responsible for the electrical design and coordination of commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects – from early concept through construction. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of leading design efforts independently while mentoring junior team members.
Structural Engineer
As we grow and expand, we have an immediate need for a licensed Structural Engineer to join our Nashville office. Our work consists primarily of mid- and low-rise retail and light industrial buildings delivered on fast-paced schedules, offering the opportunity to take ownership of design and see projects move quickly from concept through construction.
This role is ideal for a licensed engineer who enjoys hands-on design, managing multiple projects at once, and working closely with a small, collaborative team. Engineers here typically handle several projects at once and are trusted with meaningful responsibility early.
At this time, MJM does not have any open architectural positions available. We encourage you to follow us on LinkedIn for future updates regarding career opportunities and company news.
We invite you to submit your resume and cover letter for consideration should future opportunities become available.
OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
At MJM Architects, we believe in the power of mentorship. Our voluntary Mentor Program pairs seasoned professionals with new team members to set goals, share knowledge, and build connections across the firm.
“It was a great experience to be on site and see a project come to life. It’s not often that we get to see beyond the computer screen. Site visits are invaluable for understanding the construction process and watching all the moving parts come together.”
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace built on respect, collaboration, and shared success.
